People
With Disabilities Claiming Their Space
Oakland, California – January 2008
- www.able2beme.com
People with disabilities have been searching for an
entertaining and informational place to meet, interact
and unite with each other via the internet. This need
has been expanding exponentially given the advances
of technology in the disabled sectors and the acceptance
of technology as a communication aid. People with
disabilities now more than ever want to learn about
and influence their rights. There has been a lack
of ability for the disabled population to reach out
to and educate the non-disabled communities and the
world in general. People with disabilities want to
communicate and express themselves as well as gain
the ability to be self-employed, make new friendships
and have an aggressive influence on the nations politics
and their rights as citizens. This
website provides an online community for all people
with disabilities. The disabled population can now
unite and explore life’s full potential. Thewww.able2beme.com
website is the solution to the overwhelming needs
of the disabled community. Members join for free
and create a personal web page, email and instant
messaging. It provides a venue for people to be
well informed and fully involved in life. This website
offers people with disabilities a new way of self-expression
and worldwide friendships.
www.able2beme.com
offers a wide source of knowledge and as we know
knowledge is power. In the past people with disabilities
have endured extreme limitations partially due to
lack of accessible information. Now they have an
entertaining and informational place to interact
with each other, policy makers, their community
and the world. They can meet friends with similar
interests and ideals, near by or around the world.
This is a creative and fair environment where members
can express views and get actively involved in changing
policies for the disabled.
People with all levels of disabilities now have
a safe, secure means of interacting with each other
without being taken advantage of. The social interaction
provided by able2beme allows its users to more fully
realize their human potential in a safe, nurturing
environment.
